This red and black aerocar is just one among the six aerocars ever made, and has managed to pop up on eBay Motors. Built in 1956, it hasn’t been flown since the late ’70s, but looks to have been stored properly and appears to be in remarkably good shape. Powered by a single Lycoming engine offering up 135 horses, the Aerocar is capable of hitting 112 miles per hour in the air and about half that on the tarmac. The whole kit was designed in the 1940s with its front-wheel drive chassis propping up foldable wings that are towed behind when not needed along with a rear-mounted detachable pusher prop. You will need $3.5M to trailer home this aerocar.

Audi has already confirmed its concept for another green vehicle based on its A1 hybrid concept. According Audi’s PR, in hybrid mode the five door sportback will go from 0-62 MPH in 7.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 124 MPH and squeeze up to 72.4 miles from a gallon of fuel. When in electric mode, however, the sportback will take you more than 60 miles on a single charge. In addition to that, the adjustable drivetrain / drive shaft / shock absorber system shall enable drivers to choose between two modes: sport mode (for optimum acceleration) and efficiency mode.
