This new Mio Hammer V700 GPS has just released and has what might be the longest windshield mount ever seen on a GPS system. It will have a 7″ display at 800 x 480 resolution, coupled with the ability to track up to 64 satellites simultaneously while receiving traffic updates via its TPEG receiver.
This is the latest GPS navigation system from Sanyo that will feature a 5-inch touchscreen display with LED-backlight, an accelerometer sensor, a 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a rechargeable battery and a media player that will play your MP4, MP3, WMA and JPEG media formats.
The Garmin Edge 500 is a smaller version of a GPS unit that can be attached to your bike to calculate your speed, altitude, distance to places you want to go to, and even your heart rate. This tiny device avails power from a USB port and with the same terminal, it can transfer data like maps and charts. Expected to drop this Fall for a price of $250 – $350.
BMW is said to be in the process of coming up with a new navigation system to guide the drivers even better. The new navigation system can analyze previous destinations, driving patterns, and the time of the day. Eventually, when the system is already familiar with your driving habits, it can identify where you are going and tell you if something wrong is going on. Say hello to Motorola’s newest navigation baby, the MotoNavTN30. The MotoNavTN30 was presented by Motorola together with TN20, a smaller GPS device. The MotoNav TN30 has the text-to-speech function, 4.3 inch touchscreen (it’s advantage from the TN20) and is preloaded with various maps. It seems that Motorola is hiding more details about these babies because only a few information was released about them.
