The world’s first consumer 3D still camera is here as FujiFilm will be launching its all-new 3D Digital Camera in September. It has two lenses made to capture two shots of the same scene with two slightly different angles. Source says it will be at a $600 sticker tag excluding the photo frame and printing. It would be great to be one of the first to shoot with a 3D digicam.
When somebody hears the name GE, digital cameras are not the first thing that you think of. You will think of light bulbs and other house appliances. Still GE has a full line of cameras and other digital stuff.
An example of this is the E1250TW digital camera. The cam sports a 12.2 Megapixel resolution and a 28mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom. The most interesting feature of the camera is that the 3-inch LCD is touch sensitive. Some of the other features are red-eye removal, auto adjust LCD, smile detection, blink detection, face detection and HDTV out. A special mode allows users to shoot panoramic photos too.
Go scuba diving and take under-the-sea moments with the new Canon PowerShot D10 in its globular casing. It features a 12.1 megapixel sensor which has the ability to zoom 3x under a ten meter waterproof rating. Of course, as it is intended underwater, it comes with a detachable cord plus extra cases in three different colors.
The freshly-released Olympus E-P1 sports an image stabilized 12.3 megapixel Live MOS sensor with TruePic V image processing. The 3-inch LCD lets you glance at every shot image clearly. An SDHC slot is available with an ability to playback recorded video at 30fps. The Olympus E-P1 has a 14-42 lens kit that retracts into the barrel when not in use and an Olympus Supersonic Wave Filter keeps dust under control when swapping out the lens. It comes in 14-42mm lens which costs $749 and 17mm pancake lens for $899.
The Finepix Z33WP digital camera from Fujifilm is designed for active people who are always on the go. It is waterproof for up to 3 meters and it features large rubber-like buttons for an instant image capture on the move while images can be previewed on a 2.7″ LCD display. It has a 10 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom. It comes in Green, Black, Blue, Gold, and Pink.
