Buick has revealed the look of its next compact sedan, calling it “Regal” and dubbed as “Baby Buick”. It will have a GM Delta II-based architecture and platform with upfront teaser - the waterfall grille, Regal-inspired expressive headlights, and hood-mounted portholes. This will be a house to the new 1.4-liter turbo engine that promises more than 140 horsepower with six-speed automatic and manual transmissions. By 2012, this sketch will turn into life that will charge you around $20,000.

Nissan unwraps its next electric car called the Land Glider, a successor to Leaf, a two-seater compact car which will fully run by electricity. This is designed to get through small spaces and can squeeze through congested roads. Instead of a typical steering wheel, the driver is provided with a twin joysticks-like computerized dash. The Nissan Land Glider appeared during the Tokyo Motor Show.
