The Americanized N79, a smart phone successor to N85, has a new added feature – the US-native 3G data for AT&T’s HSPA network. Like the other European models, N79 comes with a five-megapixel camera, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Mainly designed for swappable backlets to let users customize their look in a way normally off-limits to smartphones, N79 is an iPhone alternative with its 4GB microSD card, a full 3.5mm headphone jack, and up to 24 hours of continuous music playback. Now available online and at Nokia’s flagship stores in Chicago and New York for $439.
