Icicle XLR is an in-line USB converter and preamp. It is designed to work with dynamic and condenser microphones. It offers a 48V phantom power option with an analog gain control and 16-bit/44.1 kHz conversion. Icicle is easy to use- just plug your mic into one end and the USB cable into your Mac or PC. Icicle should be available in December with a suggested retail price of $60.
