Virgin America has launched their now-active GoGo WiFi service that provides passengers with in-flight internet at a connection of 3.6Mbps downstream and 1.8Mbps upstream. Although voice and video chats were intended to be blocked, people can do iChat sessions. GoGo has a built-in traffic shaper that keeps an eye out for those using more traffic than others. 100% of Virgin America’s flight will have GoGo service by April.
